![]() The developer has been quietly teasing that a sequel is in development for a while, so we could be close to an official announcement. With everyone working from home, Sony may have simply relied on Geforce Now's services to facilitate remote development and testing of its titles, which could explain why some of those entries exist in the first place.Īnother curious addition that lends this datamine some credence is the mention of Helldivers 2, a sequel to the brutal, top-down tactical shooter from Arrowhead. It's hard to say whether that means all of those games are on their way to PC, however. Sony's games also include Gran Turismo 7, Demon's Souls, Ghost of Tsushima, Ratchet & Clank, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and the recently revealed Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. This could indicate that a God of War PC port is on the horizon, which wouldn't be the least bit surprising considering Sony's newfound love for releasing its back catalogue on PC. The only exception is God of War, whose entry on GFN includes a - non-functioning - link to a Steam page. Sony has a number of titles listed in Geforce Now's database, but outside of already released games like Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone, most of them don't seem to indicate a Steam release. It also extends to things like emulators.īut what's interesting is that some of them point towards a Steam release. The list is scattershot, and includes unannounced games, as well as those previously available on the service. July documented their findings and process in a blog post, and SteamDB's Pavel Djundik compiled a list of the most interesting reveals. Ighor July, the C++ developer in question, decided to dig deeper into the Geforce Now client to get a list of all "blocked" games, which should theoretically be accessible on the service, but are not due to publisher demands. In other words, you don't directly buy content on Geforce Now, you simply rent a virtual PC.Īlthough the idea of this seamless integration was very well received by players, not all developers were on board. Unlike Stadia, Luna and others, it relies on users' Steam libraries. Geforce Now is Nvidia's game streaming service. This is because Hellpods will instantly destroy any vehicle they land on.In one of the more unusual datamines in recent memory, a developer has forced the Geforce Now client to reveal a number of games not available to the public, some of which may be on their way to PC officially. When calling in multiple stratagems, it is advisable to deploy any vehicles only after all equipment-bearing Hellpods have arrived. In rough terrain, this can lead to the vehicle being deployed on top of unsuspecting Helldivers. They can land anywhere within a fairly wide radius of the beacon that called it in. Vehicles are larger than Hellpods, requiring more space to deploy. The M5-32 HAV (when upgraded to Mk3) and the TD-110 Bastion are immune to this, however. ![]() ![]() ![]() Vehicles and Exosuits will take a small amount of damage while passing through a deployed Anti-Personnel Barrier. The HAV's cannon can destroy mission targets (Cyborg AA Guns, Bug Nests or Illuminate Beacons), thus an HAV is a viable alternative to the standard-issue NUX‑223 Hellbomb, especially if the mission has several target-destruction objectives.Compared to the Helldiver-portable MG-94, vehicle-mounted machine guns have a 50% faster rate of fire. The sponson-mounted machine guns have a magazine capacity of 750 rounds each (1000 when upgraded to Mk2) the turret holds enough ammunition for 25 main cannon shots (50 when upgraded to Mk2).Compared to the faster, more nimble M5 APC, the M5-32 HAV is more heavily armed and armored, at rank 3 the front is more durable than TD-110 Bastion.Improved front armor to better handle hostile anti-tank fire.įor a detailed overview and comparison of the statlines for Helldivers, their equipment and all enemies, check the Detailed Statistics page. Increases on-board ammunition supply (main gun ammo increased from 25 to 50 rounds, sponson machine guns from 750 to 1000), adds a laser sight to the main gun. The M5-32 HAV (Heavy Assault Vehicle) is granted to the player as a reward for completing all the missions on its associated planet (typically a high level planet - difficulty 10 to 11). Players must enter the following sequence, using the controller d‑pad, in order to call down this single-use stratagem during a mission: ![]()
